spawnofchaos Deliciously sludgy, killer riffage, and a groovy beat. How could you not love Morag Tong? Favorite track: New Growth.

cptnhouseplant Let your mind float in the collective reverberation of the universe, the audible definition of being part of a greater whole. Defiantly a table worth turning. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4p3zsMzCP-s
The Midnight Toker.
The Midnight Toker. thumbnail
The Midnight Toker. Had the debut release already in my collection but no reason why this wasnt already. Issue resolved, slow and low is the tempo.....but done right. Emphemera starts out like an early Gilmour era Floydian like Astronomy Domine and churns out to be this psychedelic doom masterpiece. Favorite track: Ephemera / Stare Through The Deep.
Heddbuzz (I.R. Puffinstuff)
Heddbuzz (I.R. Puffinstuff) thumbnail
Heddbuzz (I.R. Puffinstuff) Sometimes Steve at the Outlaws of the Sun blog recommends bands/albums to me. He was right about this one. Gonna dig the self-released bone vinyl. Favorite track: Transmission.
Bucky
Bucky thumbnail
Bucky Damn, the colossal riffs and downtrodden rhythm doom along nicely with a healthy dose of psychedelic groove. Vocals are accessible and the low and slow fuzz is dynamic enough to avoid the plague of monotony many bands suffer from in this genre.
Sumoschro

Sumoschro Gives me goosebumps every time. Favorite track: We Answer.

New Growth 07:54
As the spring dew lifts Twisted bark now shifts New growth comes to life Enticed by the light Warm up by the flame Green shoots through my brain As the landscape wakes To a new dawn People escape Seek to be reborn They soon will forget All this wonder and awe Bound up by the walls The beauty will fall

We Answer 08:12
Calls ride upon Reverberation From deep valley to mountain peak The hills are alive With the sound of creative beings Resonate, last knell of Om Reply through croak and through birdsong Whispers on the wind Filled with the whirr of wings Fill up your resonant chamber And vocalise a love for life The cosmos questions And so we answer her
4.
To Soil 08:44
Bones of man and beast interred In soil, in cairn, in mound, in graven heap In soil In soil, in cairn, in mound, in graven heap In mud, in swamp, in earth, encased in peat All returns to soil To soil

Ruminations 03:54
Cyclic notion pervades my mind Consciousness failed, broke my third eye
6.
Ebb and swell breaks the surface Ephemeral tumulus raised for something Whatever threw its bones underneath To commune with everything that went the same way That wet its bones and found a home In silt and compacted stone Searching the sea, find me Turn back from the waves As they undulate Begging you to resume And your head fuzz consume Drive minds from the surf Remain on this earth Turn back from the waves Your resting place Or fill your pockets with stones Stare through the deep
